Welcome to Children's Meeting House Montessori School

CMH Teacher and Child Woodcarving

Children's Meeting House Montessori School is founded on the principles of the Montessori method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Dr. Montessori approached education from a global perspective, considering the child's intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual development. Committed to the total education of the child, CMH Montessori School fosters academic excellence and a keen understanding of self, community, and the environment.

The Pre-Primary Programs cater to both half and full day students and includes Kindergarten; the Elementary Program runs from grades 1st through 6th. The school employs the Montessori method with a low student/teacher ratio in an intimate setting that fosters a child's natural love of learning.

Six sprawling acres provide a pastoral setting for CMH Montessori School. The campus is adjacent to Grailville and the Loveland Nature Preserve. Children enjoy daily interaction with natural surroundings including a pond, an orchard, and nature trails. In 2003 the school opened a beautiful state-of-the art building that features cheerful classrooms and plenty of peaceful space for learning. Located 1/2 mile from historic Loveland and 24 miles from downtown Cincinnati, the school is an easy drive from many locations.

Children's Meeting House Montessori School is accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and affiliated with the American Montessori Society.
